Great Neck takes place in Great Neck Long Island. While I was working on the bronze for the installation of this work, I found a 16mm reel of colour film taken by a filmmaker friend of my father’s in 1942, which I had never seen. There I was playing with my mother, the apple of her eye, just before the birth of my brother whose appearance in our midst would change my life forever.
Five digital film installations that place my earliest memories within different parts of my body.
Chaos is at first a broken line of being, and recovery occurs through re-experience of continuity.
