S/HE (2014) prints on sale at Based on Drawing

A selection of prints from the series S/HE (2014) is now part of the inventory of SATELLITE BERLIN’s newly established drawing centre and shop BASED ON DRAWING. S/HE are two sets of nine digital giclée prints on Epson 325gsm Archival Fine Art paper, 100% cotton rag, acid free base. The S/HE series explores the relationship between language and gender. Thanks go to linguist Bernard Comrie, who assisted in discovering thirteen languages where the male pronoun is contained within the female pronoun.
