Painted perforated mild steel.

Commissioned for the entrance foyer of the new Laboratory of the Government Chemist in Teddington, London in 1988. It is made from a series of 48 identical folded triangular forms in painted perforated mild steel. The size of the erected sculpture is 610 cm long by 457.5 high by 10.2 cm wide. I used organic molecular structures and the way in which molecules inter-relate to create different life forms as the basic idea in the design of this sculpture.
