First exhibited in Electra, Electricité dans L'Art du 20ieme Siecle, at the Musee d'Art Moderne, Paris in 1983.

Three years before making Lady of the Wild Things I had come across a photo of myself with an early painting. I was amazed to see a prismatic bird goddess, gigantic against a turbulent sky. I took my title from Robert Graves who mentions the Lady of the Wild Things in his Greek Myths.
