This project is an homage to the feminine principle of transformation and renewal, which for millennia was held sacred in the form of the full moon and its recurring monthly cycle. The word SHE will be projected onto the surface of the moon for 29.5-day lunation period, during which time the movements of the moon, sun and earth will change the meaning of the word. Every new moon, the word will change as if a poem encircled the circumference of the moon. This event will take place on the Internet at http://www.lijn.net. The starting date is planned for 23 May 2001.
