Nahhash   1978

Cornish stone, optical glass prisms.

Prisms are like heads, transformation and control systems, as close to the dematerialised as possible. Prisms are precision tools of geometrical form and transparent luminosity destined to be anchored to a vision machine. I have decided to attach them to stones like a necklace of light.

Nahhash is the hindi word for serpent. The luminous liquid snake embraces the opaque crystal of stone. A meeting of opposites.
