Paradise Lost
1999
2 minutes, 15 seconds
Inside the dark cave of Lijn’s back, a long buried memory still lurks: the irretrievable loss of innocence. Three voices re-member a distant event, each person chooses to recall it in a different way. A magnolia bud, a human landscape and a few ants marching along a dry stalk tell the story.
EARLY EVENTS
Five digital film installations that place Lijn’s earliest memories within different parts of her body.
“Chaos is at first a broken line of being, and recovery occurs through re-experience of continuity.”
