Liliane Lijn’s seminal film What is the Sound of One Hand Clapping? 1973, is the focus of the Lines of Flight exhibition organised by five MA Art Museum & Gallery Studies students from the University of Leicester, in collaboration with the Arts Council Collection.
The film will be on display at the Foyer of the Museum Studies Building on the university’s campus accompanied by archival material relating to the work including various photographs and the original film credits made from Letraset on tracing paper, along with two small sculptures, Aluminium Koancut, 1971 and Striped Cone, 2009.
