Glittering in the Sun / Crossing Map
A bilingual extended radio drama produced from Crossing Map (1983), Liliane Lijn’s visionary epic song cycle, is performed on Deutschlandradio Kultur, the German national broadcasting station.

Glittering in the Sun has been specially adapted and translated for radio by broadcaster and curator Gaby Hartel. After numerous conversations with the artist, Ms Hartel, who is a Samuel Beckett and Virginia Woolf scholar, speaks of Lijn’s artistic practice.
