Sculpture in the Sixties
Pangolin London
Kings Place, 90 York Way
London N1 9AG
22 March – 6 May 2017
Monday – Saturday 10am – 6pm
Liliane Lijn will be showing three works in Pangolin London’s exhibition Sculpture in the Sixties at the end of March, the rarely shown Silver Ziggurat (1965), the acclaimed Liquid Reflections Multiple (1968) and Solar Cutting (1961/2005). The 1960s saw sculpture released from the confines of the plinth, where it explored new materials, bright colours and introduced minimalism, Liliane Lijn being one of the pioneers of the new wave that changed sculpture forever.
