“With the exhibition of work by the French artist Yves Klein soon to open at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire it’s a chance to hear again a recent feature about this solitary, provocative Post War artist. He is remembered for patenting a colour – an ultramarine blue which he called International Klein Blue. But, as we hear, this was only part of Klein’s grand vision to express something beyond the physical world through the experience of – in his words, the immaterial…here the artist Liliane Lijn goes in search of Yves Klein.”
