Farewell Takis

To all friends who have not heard the sad news, Takis, now finally showing at Tate Modern, is no longer. He died on the 9th of August in his home and the centre of his foundation, Kete, Gero Vouno, in Greece.

Fossil Twist, 2018/2019

Lijn intends her jewellery to be worn, as if one were moulding a clod of ‘glebe’ to a part of one’s body. She wants people to wear the earth.

Cosmic Sea I, 2019

I am interested in the behaviour of different materials and how they interact with each other. Cosmic Fragments are traces of a collision between an ancient material, glass, and a new composite material, Vapourshield, designed to prevent metal vapour from passing through the walls of the crucible in induction furnaces.
